BESTMOW Wins Rising Star Award from the Greater Philadelphia Asian American Chamber of Commerce
BESTMOW Founder and CEO Yulai Weng received the highly regarded Rising Star Award at last night’s annual awards ceremony hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Asian American Chamber of Commerce. The honor recognizes Weng’s innovative leadership in the robotic lawn-care industry, as well as BESTMOW’s outstanding contributions to advancing sustainable technology and community development.

At the ceremony, Weng delivered a deeply moving speech reflecting on BESTMOW’s entrepreneurial journey. Five years ago, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s GRASP Laboratory, he began building the company at Pennovation in Philadelphia, with the goal of transforming lawn care through intelligent robotics. “Our mission is to create sustainable smart solutions that make life more convenient and the environment greener,” he said during his remarks. BESTMOW has since become a global leader in lawn-mowing subscription services, with rapid business growth.
Weng also thanked the team for their hard work and creativity, noting that the award is a recognition of the entire BESTMOW team’s efforts. He paid tribute to Philadelphia’s vibrant startup ecosystem and expressed gratitude to mentors, partners, and the Greater Philadelphia Asian American Chamber of Commerce for supporting his journey. “Philadelphia is where innovation and community spirit come together, and it’s this support that helps us keep moving forward,” he said. He also expressed appreciation to his family, friends, and colleagues for their unwavering support of his vision. He emphasized that the Rising Star Award is not only an honor, but also motivation for BESTMOW to continue innovating, empowering communities, and contributing to a better future.

The Chamber’s president stated: “Yulai and BESTMOW demonstrate the exceptional talent and impact of Asian American entrepreneurs. His achievements have not only advanced technology, but also set an example for our community.” Looking ahead, Weng said BESTMOW will continue developing smart, environmentally friendly solutions to create greater value for Philadelphia and the world. “This is only the beginning,” he said. “We will keep shining for our team, our city, and the world we are building together.”
